BEARS - No fewer than five high-quality three-year-old stallions from the VDL Stud were approved for breeding by the Royal Dutch KWPN Studbook last week. New Pleasure VDL was honored as champion.
Four-year-old McAllister also passed the performance test with a top score and was approved.
Dressage stallion Merlot VDL (Bordeaux x Florencio) was honored with a high score of 85.5 points as champion of the KWPN performance test for dressage-bred stallions.

New Pleasure VDL (For Pleasure x Diamant de Semilly)
This great stallion was crowned champion with a fantastic score of 87.5 points.
New Pleasure VDL will be stationed at De Radstake, Fam Venderbosch, in Heelweg.
Nickelson VDL (Cohinoor x Harley)
This Cohinoor VDL son was one of the most striking stallions in the KWPN performance test 2021.
Nickelson VDL will be stationed at the VDL Stud in Bears.
Norton VDL (Baltic x Corland)
This charming, extra-modeled gray Norton VDL was chosen as one of the premium stallions at the KWPN Stallion Show. Norton VDL will also be stationed at the VDL Stud in Bears.
Nebraska VDL (Baltic x Douglas)
Nebraska VDL turned out to be complete in all components in the KWPN performance test and consistently scored an 8.0. Nebraska VDL will be available in Sweden on Gränsbo Stuteri, Ängelholm.
Nottingham VDL (Arezzo x Indoctro)
With his strong dam line and as a son of the preferent Arezzo VDL, Nottingham VDL seems to have a wonderful future for sport and breeding. Nottingham VDL will be available for breeding at the 'Nationales Pferde Zentrum (NPZ)' in Bern in Switzerland.
McAllister VDL (Inaico x Emilion (Pref))
McAllister was named one of the KWPN premium stallions in 2020 and has now passed the performance test with a top score. McAllister VDL is available at Boeve breeding station in Heerde
Merlot VDL (Bordeaux x Florencio)
Our 4-year-old dressage stallion Merlot VDL (Bordeaux x Florencio) was honored with a high score of 85.5 points as Champion of the KWPN performance test. Merlot VDL will be stationed at MVM Horses in De Steeg.
