Orafina (For Fashion) second in $450,000 Marshall & Sterling MLSJ 1.60m Grand Prix 5* at Thermal

THERMAL - Ten-year-old Orafina (For Fashion x Canturo), bred by VDL Stud and Y. Walda of Wommels (NED), finished second under rider Kent Farrington (USA) in the CSI5* MLSJ (Major League Show Jumping) Grand Prix over 1.60m in La Quinta, CA (USA). A day earlier, Orafina also won the $74,200 CWD competition over 1.50M.

Half-brother For Gold (For Fashion x Heraldik XX), ridden by Alec Lawler (USA), also did well in Thermal: a second place in the Holiday I 1.50m Grand Prix was the result last week. 
Gestüt Rabenhof / Georg Clausen (GER) bred the 11-year-old For Gold, who took fifth place in the $74,200 CWD 1.50M competition.

Cherokee ET (Cardento x Creool), ridden by Emma Marlowe (USA) and bred by Stoeterij Zandvliet (NED), posted excellent results in the CSI2* 1.45m-Grand Prix: this combination finished sixth. 

Gisborne VDL, the VDL Stud-bred son of Zirocco VDL x Goodtimes, won the 1.45m under Daniel Coyle (IRE).

The $74,200 Cabana Coast 1.50m Winning Round 5* was won by Narcotique van het Dingenshof (Harley VDL x Chacco-Blue), ridden by Erynn Ballard (CAN). Jaak Vermeulen (BEL) bred Narcotique.
