Strong performances for the offspring of Arezzo VDL this weekend, including an excellent result for Parvati AEG (by Arezzo) in Vejer de la Frontera (ESP). With Francis Derwin (IRL), the mare jumped a clear jump-off and proved unbeatable in the Grand Prix. Parvati AEG is bred by BV Stal Aegten from Peer (BEL) and had previously claimed victory in the 1.45m class.
Other Arezzo VDL offspring also performed strongly in Liège. Kansas VDL (by Arezzo) won the 1.40m with Pius Schwizer (SUI) with a time of 30.50 seconds. The Arezzo son, bred by VDL Stud, also managed to finish 8th in the 1.50m. Lilesta GE (by Arezzo) with João Victor Castro Aguiar Gomes de Lima (BRA) also won the 1.45m class thanks to a clear round in 36.53 seconds. She is bred by Th. H. Gelink.
In Opglabbeek (BEL), Ruthless van het Aegroschot (by Arezzo) was also successful. The eight-year-old gelding, ridden by Vic De Plecker (BEL), remained clear and finished third in the young horse class with a time of 26.97 seconds. The daughter of Arezzo is bred by Aegroschot NV.
The offspring of Arezzo VDL continue to impress with their sharpness, ability and attitude – characteristics that time and again ensure success at international level.
