Yesterday the Grand Prix of Lier took place. At the prize-giving ceremony, CSF Whipper Snapper (by Zirocco Blue) and Laurens Hobben were allowed to place 2nd. The Zirocco Blue son is bred in Ireland by Brian Connolly. Fourth place went to Romy FZ (by Baltic) and Katja Haep. The Baltic daughter is bred by Az. Agr. Franca Zanetti out of the ‘Keur Sport’ mare Roloma VDL (by Indorado). Earlier in the week, the duo also claimed the 5th place in the 1.40m on Thursday.
In the 1.35m there was success for the Harley daughter Fabulous. She managed to take third place on Sunday and fourth place on Wednesday. Fabulous (by Harley) is ridden by Doron Kuipers and bred by J.H.H. Diepman. On Friday, there was success in the 1.35m for Just the Way (by Zirocco Blue) and Virginie Thonon. The Zirocco Blue son, bred by L. van Vegchele, managed to finish third in the class against the clock. 4th place went to Metropolitan (by Glenfiddich) and Laurens Houben. The Glenfiddich son is bred by Thijssen Stables.
