Strong performance for Mindset & Stargos at The Dutch Masters – Indoor Brabant

’s-Hertogenbosch – During The Dutch Masters – Indoor Brabant, several VDL horses made a name for themselves with strong performances at the highest level. Mindset and Stargos, in particular, featured near the top of the results on several occasions.

On Sunday 15 March, Mindset (by Aganix du Seigneur), ridden by Hessel Hoekstra, secured an impressive third place in the CSI5* 1.50m class for the Borek Prize. After a clear round in the first phase, the pair qualified for the jump-off, in which they once again cleared all the fences flawlessly. With a time of 36.66 seconds, the duo finished on the podium. Mindset was bred by E. Schep from Tull en ’t Waal.

In the same class, Jesther (by Cardento), ridden by Maikel van der Vleuten, also put in a strong performance. The pair also remained double clear and finished in fifth place with a time of 38.18 seconds. Jesther was bred by G.J.A. Moerings from Roosendaal.

Stargos (by Stakkato Gold), also ridden by Hessel Hoekstra, made his mark on several occasions during the competition. In the CSI5* 1.45m class for the Municipality of ’s-Hertogenbosch Prize, the pair jumped to fourth place with a clear round in 56.65 seconds. In addition, Stargos finished fourth in the 1.40m class for the Van Schijndel Bouwgroep Prize and had earlier in the weekend secured sixth place in the KNHS Prize.
