NEUMÜNSTER - Zuccero (Zirocco Blue VDL x Caretino) and Rolf-Göran Brengtsson (SWE) won the CSI3* 1.60m Grand Prix in Neumünster (GER).
Zuccero was bred by Hanno Koehnke of Badendorf (GER).
But the 11-year-old Zuccero was not the only Zirocco Blue offspring to make himself heard.
El Rocco (Zirocco Blue x Ircolando) and Jur Vrieling (NED) won the CSI3* class over 1.50m in Neumünster (El Rocco was bred by C. and H. Soethout-Koopman (NED).
Fliere Fluiter (Zirocco Blue x Animo) and Jack Ansems (NED) won the CSI2* class over 1.45m and came third once. J. van de Gevel (NED) bred Fliere Fluiter.
Lord Blue du Seigneur (Zirocco Blue x Ogano Sitte), ridden by Alexandre Leriche (FRA), won the CSIYH* for six-year-olds over 1.30m in Royan (FRA). In the young horses' class over 1.25m, they finished third.
This stallion is also approved by the SBS Studbook in 2020. Lord Blue du Seigneur is closely related to several top horses such as Cardino du Seigneur, Arac du Seigneur and Oak Grove's Heartfelt.
The breeder of Lord Blue du Seigneur is Marc Vanlangendonck / La Ferme du Seigneur.
Goliath (Zirocco Blue x Mermus R), ridden by Addison Reed (USA), rode into the limelight at the Winter Spectacular tournament in Ocala (USA). They won the 1.40m Jumper class.
In Wellington (USA), Labyrinth (Zirocco Blue VDL X Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve), ridden by Sarah Sturges (USA), won the 7-Year-Old Developing Jumper class over 1.30m.
