RIESENBECK - McAllister VDL (Inaico x Emilion) went clear three times during the CSIYH1* young horse classes for six- and seven-year-olds over 1.20m and 1.25m in Riesenbeck (GER). Wesley de Boer (NED) steered the talented and quality young stallion to fifth place twice and tenth once.
Duran Tk Z (Dallas VDL x Karandasj) and Michiel Brusse (NED) finished eighth in the CSI2* Grand Prix over 1.45m. The nine-year-old Duran Tk Z was bred by J. ten Kate (NED).
Larley (Harley VDL x Bernini) and Pashalis Ballas (GRC) did good business in the young horse classes: the seven-year-old bred by J.H.W. Verver won the 1.20m, finished third in the 1.20m once and came third in the 1.25m.
Maximus Quantum Leap (Carrera VDL x Indoctro) finished fourth in the CSIYH competition over 1.20m under Camilo Rueda (COL). Maximus Quantum Leap was bred by K.B. Huygen (NED).
McAllister VDL (Inaico x Emilion) strings together clear rounds
Not only in Riesenbeck was the six-year-old McAllister VDL successful.
At the final of the stallion competition in Den Bosch, McAllister VDL and Wesley de Boer finished in fourth place. De Boer also steered the five-year-old VDL Stud-bred stallion to two clear rounds in De Meern. In Exloo, McAllister VDL also stayed clear in both rounds.
McAllister VDL was named one of the KWPN premium stallions in 2020; the generously developed chestnut stallion excelled with his model, balance, athletic ability and light-footedness. A year later, McAllister VDL passed the KWPN performance test with a fantastic score of 84.5 points. With a 9 for his rideability and 8.5 for the other jumping components, the stallion convinced and more than lived up to his expectations.
At Jumping De Wolden 2022, McAllister VDL was at international competition for the first time and jumped two clear rounds under Marcel de Boer (NED).
Stig (McAllister VDL x Don Diablo HX), bred by Joh. H. Lufting, Dalen (NED), was among the foals in last year's champion selection at Zuidenveld (NED).
