There were fantastic performances made by our horses this weekend at Jumping Zwolle, a 3* horse event.
Dallas VDL and Jur Vrieling impressed in the Grand Prix at 1.55m level. They jumped a fantastic clear round in the jump-off and finished in 3rd place. The Grand Prix was won by Holland van de Bisschop and Remco Been. Holland Van de Bisschop was educated by VDL Stud until Grand Prix level and was sold two years ago.
Jur Vrieling also did very well with our mare Latina van ’t Merelsnest (Nabab de Reve x Mr. Blue). They took the winners ribbon in the 1.40m GMB class saturdaynight and before they placed 2nd in a 1.45m class.
Homebred mare Gouvernante VDL (Bacardi x Stakkato) jumped with Elisah Aarts here first 1.40m 1* Grand Prix and she did it great. With two clear rounds they finished in 3rd place. Placed 2nd in this class was Alpha VDL (Corland x Emilion), ridden by Britt Wiefferink. Also this horse comes from the VDL Stud.
Grand Slam VDL and Alex David Gill jumped a clear round in their first 1.50m class.
Also our younger approved stallions Inaico VDL, ridden by Alex David Gill and Cohinoor VDL, ridden by James Billington, performed very well. Both stallions jumped two clear rounds in the young horse classes. James Billington finished with Hurricane (Zirocco Blue x Indoctro) 3rd in a 1.35m class..
