During the CSI4* Grand Prix at Bourg-en-Bresse on Sunday 10 May, two offspring of Carrera VDL made a convincing impression at 1.55m level.
Cadillac Z (by Carrera), bred by G. Weggemans, achieved an impressive sixth place in this demanding Grand Prix with Dutch rider Thijmen Vos. The pair remained clear-round in both the basic course and the jump-off, recording a time of 42.74 seconds. This performance also earned them €6,600 in prize money.
Channah Z, also a daughter of Carrera, put in an excellent performance. Ridden by the French rider Romain Dreyfus, she jumped to seventh place with a double clear round in 43.30 seconds. This earned the pair €4,400; she was bred by Veebedrijf S.J. Kat BV.
With two Carrera VDL offspring in the top seven of an international CSI4* Grand Prix, the stallion once again confirms his value as a sire of power, attitude and top quality at the highest level.
