Today in Verden our young stallions Zenato VDL (Zirocco Blue x Acolord) and Brantzau (Baloubet du Rouet x Carthago) received their approval for the Hannoveraner Verband.
Zenato VDL is a 3 years old son of Zirocco Blue, bred by Dr. Hartwig Schmidt from Borsfleth. His mother Zerlina (by Acolord) is a sister of the famous mare Corradina. She jumped successfully with Carsten Otto Nagel at the highest level. She was winner of the Team Gold at the World Equestrian Games in Kentuckty and at the European Championship in Madrid. She was for many years a fixture for the German Spring Team.
Zenato passed for his 50 days at Adelheidsdorf with high scores. Zenato received an average of 8,49. Among the marks where a 9,5 for his scope. Zenato is bred by Dr. Hartwig Schmidt from Germany.
Brantzau is a 5 years old stallion descending from Baloubet du Rouet. At a young age, Brantzau has already been approved for several studbooks. Brantzau gained some excellent notes in the performance test in Schlieckau. For jumping, Brantzau was given an average score of 8.30 points. Last year he impressed during his first shows under saddle where he received high scores for jumping. Brantzau won the qualification class for the Bundeschampionat in Tasdorf, he received an 8,5 for jumping. Then he was also five times winner in other classes. In every winning class he received high scores for jumping, ranging between 8.4 and 9.3.
Brantzau and Zenato VDL both are breeding at Völz Stud in Germany. Frozen semen is available through VDL Stud. The family Völz got another stallion approved by the Hannoveraner Verband today: Italo, a son of Inshallah de Muze.
