At the Grand Prix of Gorla Minore, the Zirocco Blue-son Just Blue with Daan van Geel are on the starting list. They managed to qualify for the jump-off with 8 other competitors. In the jump-off, they also stayed clear and secured a nice second place. The nine-year-old Zirocco Blue son is bred by H.W.J. Grol. Earlier in the week, the duo also managed to secure a nice third place on Friday in the 1.45m class.
Daan van Geel had even more success with VDL offspring, such as with Cara MB Z (by Carrera). The Carrera daughter finished twice on the second place in the 6-year-old class with two clear rounds both days. Cara MB Z (by Carrera) is bred by M. Bokdam. In the seven-year-old class, Daan van Geel rode the Carrera daughter L.Chiaro Di Luna. On Friday, the duo became second and managed to stay clear and place for the rest of the weekend as well. The young Carrera mare is bred by H.G.J. Kreuze.
On friday the victory of the 1.30m class went to Elvis P (by Corland) and Romain Lavigne. Over 2 seconds faster than his other horse, Elvis P managed to claim victory. The Corland son is bred by J.A. van Marum.
