Nouri W is another promising son of the excellent breeding Cohinoor VDL and Nouri W is a complete stallion in every way. Nouri W could convince the selection committee in the KWPN Performance Test with his good rideability, quick reflexes and scope and was therefore approved with 83.5 points. Cohinoor VDL combines the valuable genes of Cornet Obolensky with the great Stakkato and Contender and is bred out of a damline full of sport and approved stallions.

Nouri W’s grandsire Carrera VDL is one of the leading stallions of his generation; in almost every young horse class or international competition there is a Carrera VDL offspring standing out from the crowd. Carrera VDL’s offspring impress by their extreme quality on the jump, reflexes, technique and athletic ability. His first offspring are already breaking through at Grand Prix level. Great-grandsire Kannan has been known for years as one of the most influential stallions in the world, while Sandro has also left his mark.

Nouri W is bred out of the well-known Sakilly line; this Dutch damline has produced successful sporthorses for many years. Great-granddam Kakilly R is also granddam of the successful showjumping horses Gatsby and For Killy as well as the 1.60m jumper Carpaccio ridden by Manuel Horn. In addition, Nouri W is closely related to dozens of Grand Prix showjumpers, including Turbo R (Jos Lansink), Dahilly (Michel Robert), Lauriston (Peter Wylde), Queen of Dance (Daniel Meech), Zidane D (Rashad Samadov), Tornado R (Ludo Philippaerts) and Zargo Z (Emile Hendrix).
