Toledo is one of the first breeding stallions of jumping phenomenon Tobago Z. Ridden by Daniel Deusser, he won in 2022 alone, the Rolex Grand Prix of 's-Hertogenbosch, the Global Champions Tour of New York as well as the Super Grand Prix of Prague. Toledo combines the genes of Tobago Z with the Chellano Z daughter Caroline Z, a direct daughter of top-class mare Larthago.
With Mathijs van Asten, Larthago jumped successfully up to 1.50m-level and in breeding her success is even greater. For example, she is dam of the ‘Preferent’ awarded stallion Harley VDL, who made his mark in breeding as one of the best Heartbreaker sons. Larthago also produced the successful Cevin Z and the 1.60m jumping KWPN-approved Casago. In addition, Larthago is dam of several international showjumpers, such as Hopes Are High Z, Soren Z, Einstein, Casago II and Dimitri Z.
Toledo's dam Caroline Z also produced the Oldenburg approved Castellani Z, who competes at 1.45m level, and the international jumpers Contour Z and Contour II Z. She is also granddam of the international jumper Eloy and great-granddam of the 1.50m jumper Action Man Ask, who is approved in Denmark, Hannover and at Zangersheide.
With his unique pedigree, excellent damline and jumping talent, Toledo could be a valuable addition to breeding. The strong genes of Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve and Mr. Blue via sire Tobago Z combined with the excellent damline of Harley VDL.
