At the KWPN foal show in Franeker offspring by VDL Stallions were in front.
Champion of the mare foals was Zhefony SHB (Prestige VDL x Zeoliet X Vindicator), owned by N. Hovenga-Beekman from Jelsum.|
Champion of the stallion foals was Zinadine (Corland x Animo x Nimmerdor), owned by J.& G. Hiemstra-Dijkstra from Dronrijp. 
There was also a class for 2-years old mares. Champion was Vloorlena's DML (Pacific x Wellington x Zevenster), owned by D.M. Leistra from Grou. The VDL Stud became vice-champion in this class with Vamina VDL (Orame x Lord X Rebel I Z).
