The approved stallion Broere VDL Pacific (Corland x Nimmerdor) has won the competition for 7-years old jumphorses at the International Horse Show of Pineloro in Italy. VDL Pacific and rider Wout Jan van der Schans showed their great qualities in Italy by winning 2 out of 3 classes, including the final on Sunday. On Friday the competition started with a class directly on time, VDL Pacific was clear and the fastest in this class. On Saturday VDL Pacific was 2nd (double clear) in a two phases class. In the final on Sunday VDL Pacific was again double clear and the fastest horse. With this result VDL Pacific was the best 7-years old horse in Pineloro.

Broere VDL Atlantic (Accord II x Lord) was the other succesful VDL-horse in Pineloro. On Thursday VDL Atlantic, also ridden by Wout Jan van der Schans, was 2nd in a 1.50 m class and in the Grand Prix on Sunday VDL Atlantic was 6th. The Emillion-mare Miss Montana, ridden by Emile Tacken, was 3rd in this Grand Prix. Miss Montana was also 3rd in a 1.50 m class on Saturday.
