The young VDL Stallions showed their jumpingqualities at the first round of the stallioncompetition in Hengelo.

The 4-years old Tenerife VDL (Raphael x Ahorn) showed, with rider Jur Vrieling, that he is a very attentive and careful jumper with a nice technique. Tenerife VDL received in the 2nd round an 8,5 for technique�and an�8 for rideability during �the course.

In the class of the 5-years old stallions 3 VDL-stallions made it to the jump-off, these were: VDL Sarantos (Emilion x Larome), ridden by Jur Vrieling, VDL Sheraton (Indoctro x Calypso II), ridden by Angelique Hoorn, and VDL Silverstone (Champion du Lys x Carthago), ridden by Jur Vrieling.
VDL Silverstone was the fastest horse in the jump-off but unfortunately he had one down on the last fence. He made a time of 34,05 seconds , this was good enough for the 6th place. VDL Sheraton was clear in the jump-off and became 5th. VDL Sarantos was also clear and had a time which was good enough for the 3rd place.
