On Friday the 26th of August, Starsale Auctions will organize again a great foal-auction.The strong selection policy from the past have led to a large number of Starsale-foals who are developing into very successful horses, such as the KWPN-approved stallions Graziano (s.Baltic VDL), Wonderboy (s.Ramon), Ever Blue (s.Zirocco Blue VDL) as well as several international sporthorses already. Two VDL Foals will be auctioned:
No. 37: Lacelesia (Indoctro x Zirocco Blue x Quidam de Revel):

Indoctro is represented by a great number of offspring at the highest level, such as recent GP winners like Hello M'Lady and VDL Groep Arera C. This promising filly is bred out of the mare Hacelesta, who scored 80 for type and 85 for free jumping at the mare inspections and was invited for the national mare show. Via the outstanding Grand Prix stallions Zirocco Blue VDL and Quidam de Revel this line leads back to Relesta, a half sister of the Grand Prix showjumper L'Accorde B (s.Concorde) of Christian Anfinnsen Oien and the KWPN approved stallion Unistar (s.Voltaire). She is also granddam of the international 1.40m jumper Chapeau (s.Verdi). From this family also descend the international showjumpers Vessica du Monden (s.Cavalier), United (s.Cavalier) and Casino Royal (s.Calvaro Z).

No. 51: Lady Cancara (Bubalu x Cancara x Casall):

Bubalu VDL was very successful with Jur Vrieling on the highest level, winning teamgold at the WEG in Caen and the Nations Cup-final as well as teamsilver at the Olympic Games. He seems to breed excellent showjumpers and in the pedigree of Lady Cancara we see him united with a solid Holsteiner damline. Dam Cancara is a half sister of the Holstein approved stallions Cascall (s.Catelan II) and Quick Time (s.Quick Fire), who was placed third at the stallion show in Neumünster and was sold to Italy afterwards. Cancara is sired by the Cassini I-son Cancara, who brings in a lot of scope. Also the international 1.45m showjumpers Sunsalve (s.Singulord Joter) of Dirk Ahlmann and Cadonera (s.Chambertin) of Chantal Hebbel descend from this family.
