Last weekend the annual Jumping Amsterdam took place again, where Comthago competed with Hessel Hoekstra. They managed to impress in the 5* 1.60m Grand Prix with a nice clear round and qualified for the jump-off. Where they managed to finish on the 9th place. The Comme il Faut son, bred by W. Kochs, showed that he is in good shape so he also was qualified for the jump-off on Sunday, this time finishing in 4th place.
Glasgow v/'t Merelsnest son Imperial HBF finished in 8th place in the Grand Prix. Imperial HBF is making a strong impression in 2025, having already finished 5th in the Grand Prix and 3rd in the World Cup with Tim Gredley in Basel. He is bred by L.J. Tinto.
In the U25 Grand Prix, Kaphira (by Corland) with Wesley de Boer and Caddilac Z (by Carrera) with Thijmen Vos managed to finish in 2nd and 4th place. The Corland mare is bred by A.M. Veltmaat and has been a good combination with Wesley de Boer for many years. The duo also managed to finish third in the 1.40m the day before. The Carrera son is bred by G. Weggemans and already has several victories on his name.
There were more good results in Amsterdam. For example, Faltic (by Baltic) with Fleur Holleman managed to finish fourth in the 1.40m class on Thursday. The Baltic son is bred by N.H.G. Broeders. There was also a fourth place for Island V G (by Zirocco Blue) with Kim Emmen on Saturday in the 1.45m. The Zirocco Blue son is bred by J. van Gestel.
