Horses sold by the VDL Stud performed fantastic in the 6-year-olds and 7-year-olds classes in CSI2* Tryon. Ibiza (by Inshallah de Muze) champion 6-year-olds and Amalia (by Arezzo VDL) champion 7-year-olds.
In the 6-year-olds class Ibiza (Inshallah de Muze x Indoctro VDL) became champion with rider Daniel Coyle.
Irvington VDL (Dallas x Quick Star) became 3rd in this 1.30m course with rider Amanda Flint.
In the $25.000 Grand Prix there was a 10th place for Hudson VDL (Arezzo VDL x Contender) with rider Amanda Flint. These three horses were sold in the WEF Sport Horse Auction in Wellington.
In the 7-year-olds 1.35m class we had another champion, Amalia (Arezzo VDL x Emilion) with rider Daniel Coyle. Amalia is sold by the VDL Stud to the USA.
