In the Grand Prix of Gorla Minore, Karel Doorman (by Dakar) claimed the victory. The Dakar son is bred in the Netherlands by J. Poppen and is ridden by Swiss rider Edouard Schmitz.
There was further success for another Dakar son. King of Pop VK (by Dakar) managed to win the 1.45m at Coapexpan (MEX) on Thursday. The Dakar son has been a combination with John Perez Bohm for several years and is bred by Stoeterij van Kleef.
