Mijnsinaa was born out of a free covering by Emilion that was won by Iekje vd Meer, in honor of Emilion's 30th birthday in 2016, with her slogan: ‘Mei de hân oan de ploech en de blik foarût*, mei een Emilion springe jo der altiid ût!’ (Keep your hand on the plow and always look forward*, you always stand out with an Emilion). In 2017 Mijnsinaa became national champion of the jumpingbred foals.
