In Lier, 8-year-old Baltic P- Jewel's Promise won the Young Horses class. In a strong field of competitors, the duo stayed clear in both phases and go home with the victory. P- Jewel's Promise is bred by Jewel Court Stud and is ridden by Robin van Thillo.
There was also a nice second place for the Baltic son Lehman in the 2* Grand Prix on Sunday. The A. Schouten-bred Baltic also managed to stay clear in the jump-off together with Enrico van Manen. This summer, the duo also managed another second place in a Grand Prix.
Besides the success of the Baltic offspring, there was more success for VDL offspring in Lier. On Sunday, the Bacardi offspring Goldenstar (by Bacardi) won the 2* 1.35m class. The mare is bred by H. Ebbinge and has recently become a combination with Czech Albert Pisarik. A great start for the duo of their career together. The Corland daughter Gretel S also managed to win the 1.35m with the Belgian rider Jeroen de Winter on Saturday. Alongside the many successes in Lier, there was also success in Portugal for the Baltic-son Midcap. Together with Gonçalo Ribeiro Pinto, the duo managed to leave the competition behind with over 1 second difference on the number 2. P. Basten is the breeder of Midcap (by Baltic).
Finally, there was also success for Baltic offspring Karlotta CL in Tryon. Karlotta CL (by Baltic) is bred by C. Lux and managed to win the 1.30m class with Alejandra Ortiz Orozco.
