SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - last weekend several offspring of VDL stallions performed well at the Mexico Fall Tour. They ended at the first place in several classes.
The 5* Libre 1.50m class on thursday had a jump-off of 18 combinations. Glamour Girl by Zirocco and Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) took victory in an exciting jump-off. Glamour Girl is bred by Stoeterij Gaesbeek VOF from Ruinen.
Gigi-Carmen by Bacardi VDL and her Colombian rider John Perez Bohm took victory of the 1.45m class on friday. This Bacardi mare is bred by M.C.J.M. Burgers from Ruinen. This rider had a good weekend and also took victory in the 1.40m class on Saturday. With his horse King of Pop VK by Dakar VDL. They rode a very fast clear jump-off and managed to be 3 seconds faster than number 2. King of Pop VK is bred by M. van Kleef/Stoeterij van Kleef from Ede.
