CALGARY, SPRUCE MEADOWS - Fabrice DN (Emilion x Baloubet du Rouet) and Matthew Sampson (GBR) have won the CSI5* Grand Prix over 1.60m in Spruce Meadows (CAN) in a fantastic way. Fabrice DN is bred by D. Noordhuis in Wijster (NED).
Gigi-Carmen (Bacardi VDL x Oklund), ridden by John Perez Bohm (COL), placed fourth in the 1.45m. This eleven-year-old mare was bred by M.C.J.M. Burgers (NED).
Incredible Bleu (Zirocco Blue x Diarado), born by J. Aalders (NED) and ridden by Tiffany Foster (CAN), finished fifth in this competition. Zita Blue (Zirocco Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) and Hilary Mcnerney (Usa) did a good job of finishing seventh. ZIta Blue comes from the breeding of Edgar Langen.
In the 1.55 class Fair Field (Zirocco Blue x Chin Chin x Indoctro) and Katherine Strauss (USA), bred by the Koerhuis family, came in fantastic second.
