Jup (by Carrera) wins 3* 1.50m Grand Prix at Olivia

Last Sunday, the Carrera son Jup was allowed to take first place at the prize-giving ceremony of the 3* Grand Prix in Olivia. Jup (by Carrera), bred by G.L. Hoksbergen, managed to stay clear in the jump-off with Mariano Martinez Bastida and was 3 seconds faster than number 2.

Come Away Flamingo Z (by Cardento) managed to win the 3* 1.45m with Jérême Guery on Friday. The pair managed to beat all competition and took home the win. The Cardento daughter bred by Alexandra Rantet managed to leave the 80 other competitors behind with over 2 seconds difference.

On Saterday and Sunday the 1.45m went to I am a Harley (by Harley). Nicole Lockhead Anderson who has only started the Harley offspring internationally for the third time, has already raised over €18,000 in prize money in just over a month. The Harley son is bred by De Radstake.

Good Luck Turkish (by Goodluck) also managed to take victory twice in Oliva in the 1.30m class. Megan James and the Goodluck son continue their run of wins and prizes. They have placed in every class so far. There was also success for another offspring of the stallion Goodluck, as Coolcorron Lachlan became first in the 1.35m on Friday. Robert Splaine managed to set the fastest time in the against the clock class with the John O'Sullivan-bred Goodluck son.

In the 1* Grand Prix on Saturday, there was a nice second place for Karaldo (by Harley) and Derin Demirsoy. The Harley son stayed clear in the jump-off and set a nice time of 40.65 seconds. Karaldo (by Harley) is bred by H. & A. Barenkamp. The fourth place went to Goldenstar (by Bacardi) and Albert Pisarik, they also managed to stay clear in the jump-off. The Bacardi daughter is bred by H. Ebbinge and was trained by VDL Stud for some years.
