Sambucci de Muze, Luke Hill
The talented Sambucci de Muze was bred out of one of Belgium’s leading damlines. His granddam Cordula de Laubry is the dam of no less than seven Grand Prix showjumpers, including the approved stallions Fantomas de Muze and Lector van de Bisschop and the successful Grand Prix horse Brooklyn Heights. Sambucci de Muze’s dam Malissa de Muze jumped herself at 1.60m-level and his great-granddam Nikita de Laubry herself jumped at the highest Grand Prix level. Sambucci de Muze's sire Hunter's Scendro brings in the genes of Stakkato's son Scendix and in breeding has produced several approved sons and showjumping talents. Furthermore, the pedigree of Sambucci de Muze is built up with only greats in both sport and breeding: world champion Vigo d'Arsouilles, Olympic gold medallist For Pleasure, the legendary Darco and the influential Skippy II.
Sambucci de Muze's dam Malissa de Muze jumps herself at international 1.60m-level with Italy’s top rider Lorenzo De Luca. Malissa de Muze is among others a (half-)sister of Global (Christian Weier), Lord de Muze (Mathieu Billot), Igor de Muze (Marco Viviani), Hallina de Muze (João Victor Castro), Hautaine de Muze (Gerfried Puck), Jorden van de Kruishoeve (Rodney Jongschaap) and of course the stallions Fantomas de Muze and Lector van de Bisschop. Sambucci's great-granddam Nikita de Laubry herself jumped at Grand Prix level with Spain’s Fernando Sarasola and took part in the European Championships in Hickstead in 1999 and Donaueschingen in 2003 and the World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera in 2002.
